Paintball vs Lasertag
Paintball and Lasertag are two very popular and exciting activities. Both are fun, but which one is right for you?
What is the age-group of your party?
This is the first and most important thing to consider before making your choice. It is important to pick an age-appropriate activity, so that everyone has fun.
Lasertag – Great for younger kids!
Lasertag is a zero-impact activity and there is no ‘projectile’. Players are issued a laser gun and a vest to wear over their existing outfit. A laser signal is emitted when the gun shoots, and that signal is picked up by the opponent’s vest. Once the vest registers a hit, the wearer’s gun will shut down for a few seconds, before arming once again. Play is continuous, and the winners are the people at the end of the game that have scored the most hits, while getting hit the least. Games typically last an hour or two, and this activity is especially popular with young children’s birthday parties. If you are booking a party for kids, especially kids under 8 years old, Lasertag could be the right activity for you.
Low Impact Paintball – The Fun Experience
For kids 8 and up, Low Impact Paintball uses smaller paintballs that fly at much slower speeds. You get the same exciting fun-filled experience, but without the intensity of full-blown paintball. This is the fastest growing sector of the game, and is especially popular with 8-13 year olds, and mixed-age/gender corporate groups. Private games can be tailored to suit your needs, and Low Impact Paintball is now available as an option at premier paintball parks around the world. Check with your local park to see if they have a Low Impact option for you. If your party is looking for the added excitement that paintball offers, without the sting, Low Impact Paintball is a terrific option!
Full Impact Paintball – The Full Experience
Full-Impact Paintball delivers an adrenalin rush that neither Low Impact paintball, nor Lasertag can match. Paintball guns are used to eliminate the opposing team at distances up to 100 feet! Whether you are the hunter or the hunted, you will be talking about your paintball experience for months. If you’re looking for an exciting and memorable experience, paintball is right for you.
Full Impact paintball can be enjoyed by people of all ages, but we recommend that participants are 13 and over, as paintballs can sting if they hit exposed areas of your body, especially if you’re not expecting it! For younger ages, or for groups that want the paintball experience, without the same intensity, consider Low Impact paintball.
If your party is looking for the added excitement that paintball offers, without the sting, Low Impact Paintball is a terrific option!
